We’re really excited that British Business Bank and Virgin Money have approved us a Small Business Loan. This enables us to take the next steps for Transform-ED and HIGHER-ED in growing the business. Thanks to both parties and to Wenta for their advice too.
The template was not simple to complete, but was thought-provoking. It made us contemplate all angles of the business. (As a sometime investment analyst analysing projects’ business cases, Michael was fully supportive of this!)
The scheme provides a loan at a lower-than-commercially available interest rate. This means that small businesses have an opportunity to succeed. These businesses can, in turn, provide employment to more people, and so on. We hear quite a bit about growth or the lack thereof these days. Therefore, we are proud if we are contributing a little in the right direction.
This funding will enable us to grow the HIGHER-ED service. It will allow us to take advantage of programmes, tools, and technology that will bring our services to the wider market. This will enable us to match more people to their next role and universities and colleges to their next hire.
As a reminder, we know Higher Education and have done what you are doing. One of our founders has over 20 years’ experience working in Higher Education. Moreover, all of our academic team have worked in the HE sector spanning multiple capacities. Knowing how universities and colleges work and understanding the language, acronyms, roles, and requirements means we can have experience-based conversations with you about the next steps for Transform-ED and HIGHER-ED.
We can arrange recruitment for permanent roles, but also for fixed-term roles. Where we need to, we can act as an umbrella company supplying insurances, payroll services, HR support, and such activities on the next steps for Transform-ED and HIGHER-ED.
